REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) is an aid-for-trade organisation that was established in 2010, with the aim of growing prosperity in the region through increased trade. TMEA operates on a not-for-profit basis and is funded by the development partners from: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, European Union, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, United Kingdom and United States of America. TMEA works closely with regional inter-governmental organisations, including the African Union (AU), East Africa Community (EAC), Common Market for East and Southern Africa (COMESA), Southern African Development Community, national governments, the private sector, and civil society organisations.

The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) with support from TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) wishes to invite interested qualified and reputable firms/consortiums to participate in the following tenders:

Consultancy Services to Carry Out Environmental Impact Assessment for the Proposed Rehabilitation and Development of Five Small Ports in Lake Victoria Basin [Tender Number: PRQ20220283];
Design, Capacity Building and Development of an Early Warning System against Proliferation, Drifting, and Infestation of Macrophytes in the Port of Kisumu and Other Small Ports of Lake Victoria Under KPA Jurisdiction [Tender Number: PRQ20220342]; and

Consultancy Services for Undertaking Bathymetric Survey and Charting at Lake Victoria [Tender Number: PRQ20220344].

The Request for Proposals (RFP) documents for each tender can be obtained at https://www.trademarkea.com/procurement/. All queries quoting the above Tender Title and Number should be emailed to procurement@trademarkea.com . The closing date for submissions of these tender are stipulated in the tender document.

Interested and qualified firms/consortium MUST submit separate technical and financial proposals via TMEA procurement mailbox at the address procurement@trademarkea.com. The maximum size of each email with attachments should not exceed 5 MB.

TMEA cannot answer any query relating to this tender 7 days or less prior to the submission deadline.
